Scouting in Missouri exhibit

An exhibit commemorating the first century of Scouting in Missouri is on display, now through Feb. 27, in the Elizabeth Rozier Gallery at Jefferson Landing State Historic Site.

The exhibit, “Be Prepared: Scouting Centennial” is presented by the Five Rivers District of the Great Rivers Boy Scout Council in cooperation with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, which operates the state historic site.

The central Missouri district has created an exhibit including memorabilia from the first century of Scouting in Missouri. The exhibit will offer visitors an opportunity to learn about Scout ranks from Cub Scouts to Varsity Scouting. On some Saturdays during the exhibit, Scouts from local troops will serve as docents.
